The 2010-2012 Mainland-Hong Kong Teachers Exchange & Collaboration Programme fostered exchange and collaboration between professional teachers from the mainland and our school in designing music and visual art activities. The two-year exchange programme involved various means of collaboration, including co-planning, lesson observations and post-lesson discussions, exploring different multisensory teaching methods, and improving teaching skills in the areas of music and visual arts. The programme yielded remarkable results. After reflecting on teaching and recording childrens’ learning performance, the artwork created by our students is unique, diverse and creative.
